Gÿe is a multi-disciplinary artist, music producer, performer, DJ, and music pedagogue. Berklee College of Music Graduate, Gÿe obtained Summa Cum Laude and the Outstanding Scholar Award in their master’s in Contemporary Performance (Production Concentration) at the Valencia Campus. He studied two bachelor’s degrees in percussion performance and music pedagogy at Mallorca Conservatory with honors. Gÿe’s practice is multicultural and flexible, specializing in percussion, voice, electronic music, and spontaneous creation. He has worked as a freelance percussionist in renowned orchestras and as an avant-garde performer at the groundbreaking ensemble Neopercusión. Moreover, he has developed the Organic Free Form, an original creative methodology that tours different educational institutions giving workshops to provide students with skills addressed to artistic identity research. His music activity has been versatile, working with artists such as Victor Mendoza, Walter Thomson, Victor Wooten, and Patrice Rushen. He also collaborated next to engineer and producer Liz Teutsch with Ableton on an educational project.

Recently, they has been co-producer, art director, and co-curator at different Berklee Valencia Events. Gÿe fuses their pedagogical activity in conservatories with live performances and making original music. He released his debut single 4AM in December 2021, produced by Spanish DJ and Berklee faculty Nacho Marco under his label Loudeast Records. He’s now based in Madrid working as an educator, DJ, investigator, and producer.

Gÿe is currently a rising figure in Spain. They has given workshops and concerts around the country, at festivals such as Imperdible, Vihsibles, Ensems, amongst others. Gÿe’s versatility takes them from the live music scene in Madrid to gaining experience in the nightclub scene as an experimental and house DJ at many important venues around the city, developing music talent within the ballroom community across the country. They has recently joined Rastro Live collective and owns a radio show at Radio Relativa, one of the biggest independent radio in the country that has achieved international recognition. Gÿe joined We Are Equals Academy, a British Council’s initiative, where they could connect with industry professionals such as Jayne Stynes, Steffi Allat, Carly Wilford and Debonair, and many more. From September 2022, Gÿe combines their artistic activity and their position at Kubbo Company, working as a cultural director managing urban culture educational programs for youngsters in disadvantaged communities in Madrid. Gÿe is working on their first studio album, seeking funding for its development and strategically self-releasing some of its best singles and performing unreleased material life in many events.
