Femnoise launches the Femnoise Metaverse on Musichood
The event that gathers artists and starts an open call for artists for their upcoming festival that will be held the 1st of July at Musichood, a neighborhood teeming with music companies. It is an immersive experience that allows you to connect with others and enjoy real talent.
Femnoise enters into a new dimension, a metaverse to interact, meet emerging talents, watch inspiring documentaries and innovative proposals. In this 3D virtual world participants can have their own avatar, interact, dance and attend the programming selected by Femnoise.
How can you participate in the call for artist for the Femnoise Fest?
The call is open to female artists, not binaries, dissidents, diaspora, LGBTQI + community that fall within the categories: music, DJs, producers, VJs, audiovisual creators and designers in the music industry. The bases, conditions and benefits are announced in the registration link on the Femnoise website.
What’s the schedule for this opening of the Femnoise Metaverse?
In this opportunity there will be a display of artist shows that are part of the Femnoise platform, this phase brings together artists from the most diverse environments and from all hemispheres. The videos will be on permanent display in the virtual gallery.
The program of the event will have two audiovisual pieces that raise awareness about music production and the club scene. “In Ctrl” recounts the first steps of an artist in the world of music production, produced by LNA Does Audio Stuff and Music Production for Women. And Speak Out which it’s produced by Danzfloorapp, is about the electronic music scene and how nightclubs can implement measures to reduce harassment and violence. Speak Out has as protagonists the former promoter Merlina Maiello from Argentina and the international DJ Rebekah, founder of #MetooMusic.
The line Up is also counts with DotlinesDot, a Femnoise partner company that revolutionizes and accelerates the way artists, creators and future professionals access industry professionals. They will talk about how the platform works and will provide a mentorship among the attendees.

The end of the event will have the set of Djs from Femnoise Agency: DJ Rosario , Jospehine and Klara Missyle
Those who participate will have the possibility to connect with professionals and artists from all over the world in one place.

Femnoise opens a collaboration with the Spanish artist based in Barlín, Becky Jaraiz. The creations show the intersection between being a woman, music and the essence of Femnoise.
T-shirts, caps and courses of the organization will be available in the store.

The Musichood platform is a real virtual world created by and for music. An avenue of unlimited creativity constituted to connect people through music and share the magic of the talent of all musical creators with the whole world. Where Femnøise will have a permanent residence from which to do cyberactivism.
Facing the Femnoise Festival
The call for Artists in the Femnoise Festival is open to artists and professionals in the areas of audiovisual, photography and graphic design who work in the music ecosystem.

This initiative joins the many that the Femnoise platform has opened since 2017 to make visible the work of women and non-binary people in music, which has seen its consolidation in July 2020 with the implementation of a series of digital resources to reduce the gap gender in music. Femnoise has had the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Government of Spain, the Barcelona Local Development Agency, Barcelona Activa and SAE Institute Spain as an educational partner.
