Pre-Release Feedback
you have created a track, you spent hours and hours with the mix and you think it’s good but still you know: You can not be objective enough to say if it’s REALLY good or if your ears and equipment fool you. Obviously: You need another pair of ears to listen to your new track. That’s the point when you can share your track here (for example using fidbak.audio or a private soundcloud-track).
Or you know you are a good composer/arranger/singer/instrumentalist but mixing…meh, could be better? Just post it here, maybe someone can give you good advices for your track.
Same goes for any musical question, whether it’s compositon, arrangement….
I know I’m pointing out the obvious, but be sure to listen to other people’s tracks too, try to be helpful and constructive. No useless feedback like “I don’t like it” or “nice track”, make clear what you like or don’t like about the track and the mix. Annoying frequencies? Too much compression? A wrong note? Poor arrangement? Things like that. Shortly said: be respect- and helpful with your feedback.
And a request alongside music: Saving data on servers costs a lot of energy. So please remember to delete tracks after you got the feedback you need – you do our mother earth a favour (-:
